.....you bought some music?

"About a month ago I bought U2's The Best Of 1980-1990. I couldn't tell you if it's any good though coz it's still in my girlfriend's car. I'm not a big music man."

.....you missed a sitter?

"Every day in training. To be honest I'm never far enough forward in games to miss them that often. I think I've only been near the goal once this season and I got a lucky goal."

.....you got a dogy haircut?

"People will tell you it's you all the time, but I can't think of a bad one. I got it cut the shortest I've ever had it a month ago, but I like it. I've never had a perm or anything. I suppose the worst were when my mum cut it when I was younger, but it seemed good at the time."

.....you went to see a film?

"Not too long ago. I went to see 'The Mask Of Zorro' which was good. Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones star in it and I can recommend it."

.....you paid to see a game?

"Oh! That wasn't very long ago. I know I went to see a game I paid for, but I honestly can't remember who it was."

.....you felt like giving up?

"At the end of every 12-minute run in training! I actually did give up football two-and-a-half years ago. I was 19, at university in Edinburgh and playing for St Johnstone. I just wasn't enjoying it. But I made the right choice to start again."

.....you were the butt of a joke?

"Youg et the odd bit of sockcutting, but I haven't really had a funny one for a while."
